L’Auberge des 21 is delighted to announce that it has joined Tourisme Durable Québec (TDQ), a collective movement of organizations and individuals committed to promoting responsible and sustainable tourism in Quebec. This marks an exciting new chapter for our team, who aspire to play an active role in transforming tomorrow’s tourism.

Contributing to a more responsible travel experience

This new affiliation with Tourisme Durable Québec further motivates us to raise our service standards, improve our practices and strengthen our sustainability performance. We are also committed to continuing our quest for knowledge about sustainable tourism, as we firmly believe that continuous learning is essential to improving our efforts as a tourist destination.

Concrete action: the evolution of our sustainable development plan

One of the concrete actions we are undertaking following the signing of the TDQ commitment charter is the revision and improvement of our first sustainable development plan, to be implemented in October 2022. This initiative aims to integrate the lessons learned and changes we have implemented to date, to ensure that our hostel remains at the forefront of responsible tourism.

As part of this effort, we will be stepping up our commitment to training, informing our customers and communicating our sustainable practices. We are committed to regularly sharing our progress and successes in this area on our website, demonstrating our commitment to transparency.

Join the sustainable tourism movement

We invite all those who share our vision of responsible, sustainable tourism to join us in this endeavor. To become a member of Tourisme Durable Québec and help make Quebec an exemplary travel destination, visit the“Become a member” section of the organization’s website.
