La Baie Marina

The Ville de La Baie marina is set in a very pleasant natural setting at the end of Anse à Benjamin in Baie des Ha! Ha!

The marina basin can accommodate more than 75 boats. Its deep-water location means it can be accessed at any time without worrying about the tides, and its privileged position in Anse à Benjamin provides the best-protected natural shelter on the Saguenay River. The docks are open from May 15 to October 10.

Mont-Bélu Véloparc

Mont Bélu has been offering enduro trails since 2012. One ascent trail and 6 descent trails for all levels are available. Only one trail was built mechanically, the other 5 were all hand-carved by enthusiasts to offer natural descents and a unique experience.

Véloroute du Fjord du Saguenay

Opt for an adventure rich in scenery and memories with the Véloroute du Fjord du Saguenay, whose 435 kilometers encircle the fjord. With villages every 20 kilometers, this circuit offers a unique experience thanks to its magnificent panoramas.

Black bear observation

Take advantage of this silent moment to discover this animal in its natural state. Viewing will take place from a specially-designed watchtower, with the utmost respect for the animals.

This first part will be followed by a complementary interpretation activity (rabaska on Lake Côme, weather permitting).

The Eucher trail

Eight kilometers of trails, the first part of which, up to the site of the cross, represents 1.5 kilometers of marked, linear trails, accessible free of charge from the Anse-à-Benjamin marina.

Located on the shore of Ha! Ha! the Musée du Fjord offers entertaining and instructive programming on the marine world of the Saguenay Fjord. It is both a laboratory and a place of learning, where history and science coexist. Through the windows of its aquarium or the portholes of its technological vessel, tame the teeming life of the Saguenay Fjord.

La Boucanerie d’Henri produces a hot-smoked salmon with a unique taste and melt-in-the-mouth texture.

Inspired by a 3rd-generation family recipe, the salmon is cooked pink through and the jerky dehydrated just right.

Birdwatching

Come and watch snow geese and Canada geese as they prepare for winter. They start from the north and stop in Saguenay to regain their strength before heading south again.

Situated high up, it offers a breathtaking view of Ha! Ha! It features a tiered layout, low brick walls and mature trees.

The Pyramid of Ha! Ha!

Erected by a group of citizens in memory of the 1996 floods, the Pyramide des Ha! Ha! is covered with 3,000 “Cédez le passage” (“give way” for “help yourself”) signs mounted on an aluminum structure.
